Freetown Village is a living history museum with the mission to educate the public about African American lives, arts, and culture in Indiana through living history, exhibits, allied programs, and the collection and preservation of artifacts. Programs include:
- Summer Camp
- Freetown Village Singers
- Making a Difference Annual Awards Dinner
- Monthly Indy Story Slam at various restaurants throughout Indianapolis in collaboration with Storytelling Arts of Indiana
- Life Stories Oral History Project in collaboration with Freetown Village.

Storytelling Arts of Indiana enriches, connects and entertains through the art and experience of storytelling. Storytelling Arts of Indiana presents a season of storytelling featuring local favorites and national touring storytellers . In addition to the schedule of storytelling concerts, Storytelling Arts of Indiana provides:
- Weekly class at the Renaissance School in Warren Township.
- Mentoring program for individuals of color
- Monthly As I Recall Storytelling Guild meetings
- Monthly Indy Story Slams at various restaurants throughout the city in collaboration with Freetown Village
- Summer performances for children at 15- day camps throughout Marion County.
- Liar’s Contest in conjunction with the Indiana State Fair.
- The Life Stories Oral History Project.
